American-Palestinian Teenager Freed Following Nine Months in Israel's Imprisonment

An American-Palestinian teenager who spent a nine-month period in Israeli detention without charge gained freedom.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 when he was arrested last February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, during a family visit while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, which he previously denied.
The US state department expressed satisfaction with Mohammed's liberation.
Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care for treatment immediately after release, according to close relatives.
They said he is visibly pale and thin, and experiencing medical problems acquired while detained.
In a statement, the youth's uncle expressed the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".
Family member Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "enduring a dreadful, continuous nightmare" over the last nine months.
"Currently, our priority is providing Mohammed with prompt healthcare he needs following exposure to Israel's abuse and brutal treatment over several months."
The state department announced ongoing to offer diplomatic assistance to Mohammed's family.
{"American leadership has no higher priority to ensuring the safety for United States citizens"," the department emphasized.
Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to US authorities and the White House, demanding more be done for his freedom.
Mohammed's parent, parent of four children managing a frozen treats business from Florida, had earlier stated Mohammed acknowledged allegations regarding stone throwing after being assaulted by soldiers.
There were no visits or spoken to Mohammed since February, and only heard about his son's condition through judicial records.
Mohammed was held lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility on the West Bank.
The facility also contains adult prisoners, including individuals found guilty regarding severe security violations and murder.
An estimated 350 Palestinian child security detainees detained within Israeli facilities, according to the Israeli Prison Service.
Several lack formal charges and human rights groups, as well as the United Nations, report instances of abuse and torture.
After the teenager's freedom, the uncle stated they would maintain their efforts seeking justice for their relative their cousin Sayfollah.
The 20-year-old dual US citizen per medical officials was beaten to death by settlement residents amid clashes last July.
Initially, defense forces stated authorities were looking into accounts of a Palestinian was deceased.
The two cousins were employed together at their family's ice cream business in Tampa, Florida.
No indictments occurred regarding Sayfollah's death.
"We anticipate United States leadership to protect our families," the uncle stated.
