Devoted supporters of Ariana Grande are demanding that a person who jumped a barricade and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip shows the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account contains videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last winter.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is evidently a punishable act," commented an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Past Trauma

Numerous followers criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another response on Instagram.

Several supporters also criticised security officers at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Many of attendees had assembled in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore venue, including several who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the second of a two-film version of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unexpected friendship between two very different characters.

The musical itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, winning several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
